A Lavish ‘French Château’ That Costs US$72 Million

This lavish home that resembles a French château is on the market for US$72 million.

Located at 901 North Alpine Drive and nearby the Beverly Hills Hotel, this 28,000sqm home is fit for royalty. The house was conceived by Frank Valentino of Park Lane Design Group, and was decorated by French designer Robert Salice.

The interior is furnished with gold leaf ceiling and marble staircases, as well as a skylight. The highlight of this home is the ballroom, and a 1,400sqft kitchen with two islands, four sinks, and six ovens. The wine cellar also boasts 1,000 bottles.

There are six bedrooms to choose from on the higher floors, with two more for in-house staff. In additional, there are three more in the guesthouse just for visitors.

Facilities include a game room, a gym, a screening room and a Greek-style indoor pool. There is also a hot tub surrounded by pool columns.

Don’t be fooled — technology pervades amidst these traditional design elements, as the house is equipped with a Creston automation system.
