Inspired by the movie, Mad Max: Fury Road, Luca Pozzato’s latest motorbike captures the insanity of the film’s high-octane, post-apocalyptic world. Using advanced technology, stylish flourishes and bespoke elements, Pozzato let his imagination run wild to create a unique vehicle.
Here’s a quick rundown of the materials used to make this bike:
Pozzato’s “untameable” motorbike is sculpted in metal — all shiny and chrome — with unusual shapes and lines.
The tail, hips and tank are made from aluminium, and the gold plaques were made using a process called metallisation. The exhaust pipe was made from powder-coated stainless steel, and the spoke wheels are from Kineo.
Its bespoke parts include a saddled supplied by Foglizzo Leather, which consists of hand-stitched eel skin.
As for its engine? The three cylinder 800cc MV Augusta guarantees an awesome racing experience through a barren desert — just like in the movie.
