Photographer Imagines A Paris Without People

Everyone loves the romantic City of Lights, which is packed with people in the summer. But what would it look like without anyone in it?

French photographer Genaro Bardy ran with this idea with his series, “Desert in Paris”. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2014, he shot images of the city at rest.

Bardy took 6 hours to complete this project, rode a bike for 6km, and walked for 14km around the city.

Now that’s a view of Paris you don’t often get to see!
